The MK18 RIS III is an updated version of the MK18, a short-barreled rifle (SBR) primarily used by U.S. military special operations forces. The "RIS III" (Rail Interface System III) is a modernized version of the Daniel Defense RIS II rail system, which has been standard on the MK18 Mod 1 and M4A1 Block II rifles.
