The FMG-9 is a compact folding submachine gun designed by Magpul Industries, an American firearms accessory manufacturer. Originally conceptualized in 2008, the FMG-9 was developed as a compact and concealable firearm primarily for personal defense and covert operations. Its unique design allows it to fold into a small rectangular package resembling a common everyday object such as a laptop battery or a large flashlight, making it easy to carry discreetly. The FMG-9 is chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, a popular handgun cartridge, and features a collapsible stock and Picatinny rails for attaching accessories like optics or lights. While the FMG-9 hasn't seen widespread adoption, it represents an innovative approach to compact firearm design.
